Hair and Skin
001. TIGI Catwalk Oatmeal and honey shampoo
'Comfort food for dry/damaged hair'. I've loving this shampoo recently, As my hair has been so dry throughout February :( I found it in TKmaxx as its slightly more cheaper than usual. Also, This shampoo smells amazing!
002. Mama Mio Skin Tight
I bought this on a bit of a gamble as I wasn't sure whether it would work, but the reviews for it where brilliant, so I got it. -and I don't regret it at all! Its a gel formula and you put it on the patches you want tones (yes-where ever you want!) every day for 30days and it tightens, tones and lifts! I've been using this product on my legs and I've definatly noticed a difference!
003. Mama Mio Clean Slate
I have literally no faults with this product! I use it every morning and it makes my skin look and feel soft, smooth and appear even. It smells so fresh and sets you up for the day!
004. Neals yard Almond Oil
I use this in my baths as it really hydrates and gets into your skin. iv been using this a lot during February as the cold weather has really dried my skin out and this has been working amazingly!
Makeup
001. Urban Decay Naked Palette 2*
I've been using this product religously throughout february as I got given it for my birthday. The colours of this palette are a lot more earthy compared the the bronzed colours from the original Naked palette/
002. NARS Bronzer -Laguna
As you can see, this product is in desperate need of a replacement! This is the most gorgeous bronzer iv used! its gives a gorgeous glow with out looking dirty on my pale skin and doesnt come out orange at all!
003. Loreal True Match Foundation
This foundation has always been brilliant! It has hundreds of different shades so theres one for everyone! it gives a gorgeous finish and perfect coverage as it isnt thick at all letting you skin breathe
004. MAC Fluidliner - BlackTrack
Iv been using this gel eyeliner as I ran out of my Bobbi Brown one and I heard lots of things about this product, so i thought id give it ago. It lasts all day long and i'm really impressed with this eyeliner, I would say the colour is a lot more stronger with the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner and that is also waterproof so I prefer that, but I still love this product and gives a lot more of a natural look for during the day.
005.MAC lipstick -Speed dial
This colour is beautiful, its a hot pink and I'v been loving this lipstick throughout february! Iv always loved MAC lipsticks as they're so creamy and last for so long with no embarrissing smearing or smudging!
006. Lancome Mascara -Hypnose Doll Eyes
This first thing I thought when I saw this mascara was the bottle, -Its Beautiful!
its curvy and black with matte flowers all the way up the bottle! Lancome mascara's have always worked a treat on my eyelashes, and iv used then ever since I started wearing mascara in year 7 when I got given an old Lancome mascara from my friend. This mascara is gorgeous, the colour is very intense and the brush fans out your lashes giving them volume and taking away any kind of clump!
Earrings
Earrings - Miso Republic
Fragrance
Flower Bomb - Viktor&Rolf
Yiyangu Kakadu Plum & Macadamia Nut Body mist - The Australian Costmetics Company
Iv had this body mist for ages now but I cant explain how amazing this body mist smells! I love the packaging and all their products are so gorgeous!
Music
Hope you enjoyed this post & let me know what you think!
001. For the last week I've been out of the country skiing in Spain! We were so lucky with the weather as for the last two years its been snow storms but this year was gorgeous and SO sunny, which has done wonders for my skin and given me and good dose of vitamin D (which you don't get a lot of in the UK!) but all my freckles have gone and decided to make an appearance!
002. As we went on the plane which annoyingly got delayed by 3 hours it gave me a top chance to raid duty free..so I wasn't complaining at all!
Here are some bits I bought!
L'Occitane en provence
Shampoo for Dry, Damaged hair
This Shampoo Smells gorgeous, its very fresh and makes your hair feel so soft and smooth, it contains 5 essential oils which repair your hair leaving it moisturized and shiny.
Viktor&Rolf -Flowerbomb
This is undoubtedly my favourite perfume at the moment, As soon as I picked it up and tried it I fell in love with it! It's very floral, extremely feminine and a very sexy fragrance and i'm finding it hard not to use it as an everyday perfume as it's not the cheapest out there :(
Bioderma -Sensibio (sensitive) H2O
Finally, Of Course, How can I not restock on my favourite makeup-remover/cleanser ever!
Iv heard that bioderma is coming to the UK very soon and I cant wait as I run out of it so quickly and can only top up once a year when I go to France or Spain!
001. So this week started with a flurry of snow &as iv never done an outfit of the day, I thought today would be the day! I recently have been in love with peplum tops, I think they're so flattering and go so well with chunky necklaces! &I love this coat too which I got from Miss Guided, as it has a really soft body, wet look sleeves and a big black fur collar which is gorgeous, then of course, disco pants.. which go with everything!
002. Earlier this week I bought Clean Slate and Skin Tight from MumaMio which arrived super quick! I'v been using the Clean Slate face wash recently and it has made my skin so soft and even-looking, but I haven't yet used the Skin Tight toning serum, but I shall do a review on them both soon!
003.This week has been a very busy week as we are finishing all our final pieces at college so iv been feeling very run down as soon as I get home I slip into my christmas onesie from primark, sit on the sofa with a hot chocolate, cream & marsmellows (of course!) & watch a good film cosied up with the fire!
but today it was a lemsip for me! as today I woke up with the biggest sore throat this morning & horrible cold but come the evening iv been feeling a lot better &got loads of work done too -yay! :)
So, last week was a wonderful whirlpool of happiness! Wednesday, I became a very proud owner of a gorgeous new leather jacket - Thank you topshop! Thursday, My new camera came, Canon EOS 650D..& its incredible! v.pricey, but the picture quality is incredible. I seriously needed a good camera as im doing art & photography in college I was in desperate need of a good camera and this has fit the bill completely! Then, on Friday the family and I went off to see Les Mis in the cinema, which was brilliant, as I loved the theatre performance of this show I wasn't sure whether the film would be 'as good' but -yes, it really really was. &as normal, I was sat there in floods of tears!(thank you waterproof mascara)
002. Its so nearly February half term and i'm literally buzzing, as i'm taking my boyfriend skiing! So on Saturday I decided to stock up on brand new ski wear, as Iv had the same ski wear for about 4years now, &iv grown..a lot! As recently iv been having a ridiculous obsession with red, iv decided to go for a red and white theme which ties into my white and gold ski boots!
003. Iv been doing a lot of online shopping recently! -It's an addiction, I swear! I just cant help but sit and browse through every website I can find to do with clothes from Ebay to Topshop! I'v been considering buying one of those peplum tops, a white v-neck one as it looks gorgeous, just have to wait until Riverisland get a batch through my size as the only have 14 and 16 left.
004. I know its February now, but Im still very sluggish from January, and trying to find motivation to do college work and getting myself back into any form of routine! So recently, iv been dosing up of gingerbread lattes just to get me through the week at college! (not that i'm complaining.. Gingerbread is my weakness)
Here are the products iv been literally in love with and haven't been able to put them down over the whole of January!
Hair and Skin Products!
Lush - Angels On Bare Skin
ShearBeauty Salon - Argan Secret Shampoo & Conditioner
ShearBeauty Salon - L'Oreal Expert Chroma Care in 3 Gold
Debenhams - Origins Make A Difference Plus+
Recently, I'v been Loving Angels On Bare Skin by Lush, I'v been using it every other day on my face at night and iv seen a very noticeable difference, My skin is a lot less red and my skin tone has evened up in a lot of places too. After using this I use Origins Make A Difference Plus+ its pricey, But worth it! i use it under makeup too as a primer because it makes your skin SO soft and smooth &as iv been suffering from terribly dry, sore winter skin this has treated me so well!
With my hair, Its has been extremely dry from the typical British weather, and this Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner is incredible, but really hard to find as its not available in Drug Stores but it leaves your hair smelling gorgeous & silky soft! I use this along side the L'Oreal Chroma Care (using this before conditioner, after shampoo) which claims to refresh your colour treated hair, I'v been using this through January and iv noticed a great difference in the vibrancy of my hair colour and it's looking much healthier!
Make-up
Make-Up Forever - HD Foundation
Too Faced - Natural Eye Palette
MaxFactor - Clump Defy Mascara
Revlon - Liquid Eyeline Pen
Lancome - Lipstick in 101 L'Absolu Nu
Carmex
Iv been loving Make-Up Forever HD foundation during January as its abit thicker than my other foudations giving me better coverage for my blemish prone winter skin. Iv also been using the Too Faced Palette a lot during January as the colour are really warm which I like, im also a massive fan of natural eye shadows anyway! :) the MaxFactor clump defy mascara is brilliant, and iv been using it everyday since I got it! (Review coming soon!) & the black eyeliner lasts all day and the colour is so strong, which I love.
With lip products I'v been using Carmex a lot which works wonders with smoothing my lips and the Lancome lipstick is beautiful, its a subtle pink with a small amount of shimmer and have been using it so much recently!
Earrings
Republic - Earrings
These are my favouritest earrings EVER! My signature look are my earrings.. The biggest, and prettiest earrings you can find! &once I saw these I HAD to have them!
Iv always worn massive earrings so my ears are very use to heavy earrings and don't irritate them so I mange to get away with them (result!!) &i think these earrings are just perfect :)
Perfume
I've been using this perfume a lot throughout January almost everyday at college &its smells gorgeous!
It's a very unique blend of liquorice and vanilla while you get very light notes of sweet apple. I've never smelt anything like this perfume before and its an extremely sexy, feminine scent! I also love the glass purple, heart-shaped bottle of this perfume as its so girly and classy!
As you can tell..Heres another nail art tutorial for y'all to give a go!
These nails are very girly & I really enjoyed doing them, as you can also see, once broken down they're pretty simple to do!
all you need is:
-a selection of nail polishes you want to use (3colours)
-tiny brushes
& a black nail art pen!
Step1. I painted the base of my nails pink so its not too overpowering &it acts like a subtle background. I then dipped a cotton bud into a pinky/orange colour, the one I used was OPIBright lights-Big colour.
Step2. Using my black nail art pen (these are available at most drug stores, &iv also seen them in topshop, uban outfitters and accessorize too) I then created black lines representing branches and also outlined the flower to give it shape.
Step3. After this, still using my nail art pen, I then added small dots around the ends of the 'branches' and inside the flower, for detail.
Step4. Finally I took a small nail art paint brush and added my green leaves. To do this, I dipped my paint brush in to green paint and just randomly added green dots to the 'branches'. Then use your favorite top coat to make the look last longer! :)
I hope you all enjoyed this quick tutorial & let me know what you think!
