Flower Nails

Flower Nails
Tutorial

Hey guys,
As you can tell..Heres another nail art tutorial for y'all to give a go!
These nails are very girly & I really enjoyed doing them, as you can also see, once broken down they're pretty simple to do!
all you need is:
-a selection of nail polishes you want to use (3colours)
-tiny brushes
& a black nail art pen!

Step1. I painted the base of my nails pink so its not too overpowering &it acts like a subtle background. I then dipped a cotton bud into a pinky/orange colour, the one I used was OPI Bright lights-Big colour.

Step2. Using my black nail art pen (these are available at most drug stores, &iv also seen them in topshop, uban outfitters and accessorize too) I then created black lines representing branches and also outlined the flower to give it shape.

Step3. After this, still using my nail art pen, I then added small dots around the ends of the 'branches' and inside the flower, for detail.

Step4. Finally I took a small nail art paint brush and added my green leaves. To do this, I dipped my paint brush in to green paint and just randomly added green dots to the 'branches'. Then use your favorite top coat to make the look last longer! :)

I hope you all enjoyed this quick tutorial & let me know what you think!

*Philosophy product review

Philosophy
White Cherry 3in1
Bubble Bath, Shower Gel and Shampoo

This was gifted to me at Christmas, and as you can tell by the amount iv already used -I'v completely fallen inlove with this product! I was worried that the smell of cherry would be, as usual, far too overpowering but i was extremely pleased to find out its got a very subtle, fresh smell to it. The first thing which drew me towards the product was the packaging. Its simple, yet classy and sits beautiful on any bathroom shelf. Once opened, I noticed the gorgeous pearlescent colour with shimmers of pink, white and silver.
This product does contain glitter, which I don't mind much at all as it doesn't stick too much so you don't come out the bath, or shower looking like a glitter ball!
This product also has an amazing lather, feels really soft and cleans so well, whether your using it as a shampoo, bubble bath or shower gel..it ticks every box!
I love this product so much and defiantly want to check out more products by Philosophy going by this product!
As far as I'm aware this product is no longer on the philosophy website, but it may be on other websites which sell this brand. I defiantly recommend you to give this brand a go.

Have you tried philosophy?

Leopard Print Manicure

Leopard print french manicure

Hey guys!
so i thought i'd do a blog post about my leopard print nails as i cannot explain to you how simple it is!

So, this is it.. 3 steps to a gorgeous french mini, with a bit of a twist!

step 1. use a base coat, recently iv been loving Essie base coat, then use a white nail vanish to create a french manicure. you can use the tip stencils or, if you have a steady hand, do it free hand!

step 2. you then take a gold nail varnish, which ever one you can get your hands on, i love the Max Factor nail varnishes especially for this look as the brush and the bottles are so small you can paint the randomly placed dots straight on to the nail. if the brush is too big for this, just use a cotton bud.

Step 3. last but not least, use a black nail art pen and add broken circles and randomly placed flecks of black then, to complete and make the look budge-proof add your favorite top coat!

let me know what you guys think!

Christmas nail art

Christmas nail art

Snow flakes

yes! It's the time for all the Christmas nail art to come out!
also, before we start my nails are in awful condition at the moment due to my art at college and they keep breaking! but im doing m best to keep them in shape! :)
so, here is my first post for Christmassy nails, this is how you do snowflakes! &its super simple!

Firstly, prep them using any sort of base nail varnish. Personally, i love OPI nail envy!
then, take a white nail varnish and a sparkly blue nail varnish, im using the Rimmel London nail tip whitener and OPI Austin-Tatious turquoise.

I then used the 17 nail xtras glitter top coat and used this on every single nail.
after that, i dipped a thin nail art paint brush into the white nail varnish and created snowflakes by doing a cross and small flicks of nail varnish off the cross and added a small gem in the middle for effect.
i then added black dots along the bottom of the white tips, but these are optional.

I hope you liked this post, and more Christmas posts shall be coming up shortly!

Red and gold leopard print nails

Red and gold leopard print nails

This is my favorite design to do. It is so simple and looks great whatever the occasion! follow the 3 simple steps to achieve this stylish look!

1. Firstly, start by painting your index, middle and little finger's red & your thumb and ring finger's gold.

3. After that, take a black nail art pen and make broken circles around the red dots and small black marks in between the circles. To finish the look, add a top coat to prolong the nail varnish.
